When setting up your inventory, simply assign a cost per unit (even per location if needed) and easily view the profitability from the job screen. See the screenshot for a complicated example with plants and labor
The Breakdown
Since you can define the true cost (per unit of measurement) in the "Product / Services" screen, we can easily calculate how much profit you made on each job. A simple example would be if you are charging $40 for a cut, but estimate that it takes $17 for labor and materials to get the job done. This reflects a true profit of $23 right?
Moving forward, you can define your true cost for every product or service you have and easily assess your profit margins and gross cost of goods sold (as pictured in the screenshot).
TurfHop customers are using this functionality to make sure their work is scalable and profitable to grow their business.
